Band 6 Acute In-patient Physiotherapist
Band 6 Permanent Full Time Acute Inpatient Team We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a passion for acute in-patient work, to work at Band 6 level. This is a permanent opportunity for 1.0WTE working Full Time with a well-established physiotherapy team covering, Surgery, Respiratory, Medicine and Critical Care at the Queens Medical Centre Campus. You will be given the opportunity to work within all areas of the team in a flexible role. You will have the opportunity to participate in service development and deputise for the band 7 in their absence. The successful candidate will have a broad range of Band 5 experience including in-patient experience as a Band 5 in the core areas of Respiratory, Health Care of the Older Person, Neurology and Orthopaedics as a minimum requirement. The candidate will be looking to specialise within Acute Inpatients and will have some experience at a band 6 level. You will have excellent communication and team-working skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload. The post has a requirement that you manage and support Band 5's, Support Staff and Students on Clinical Placements allowing you to develop your leadership, management and teaching skills. We are a large Acute Teaching Hospital and this post will provide you with the opportunity to work in Specialist areas, including Major trauma, Neurosurgery and neurosciences, hepatobiliary and colorectal surgery, spines, maxfax and ventilation services, with a huge variety of patients and working alongside experienced lead clinicians.
