Band 5 Preceptorship Midwife Band 5 - £24,214 - £30,112 per annum pro rata Are you a third year student midwife ready to embark on your Midwifery journey? Do you have a strong focus on compassionate and personalised care, whatever the setting and care pathway? If you want to join a like-minded team of committed, friendly midwives we are currently recruiting Band 5 rotational midwives to undertake a preceptorship programme. Our team are proud of our outcomes and we have worked together to successfully reduce rates of stillbirth and OASI. We are a wave two Trust for the Maternal and Neonatal Safety Collaborative and are always keen to learn from other organisations about their improvement journeys. We are research active and are working in partnership with the University of York to explore women's decision making in labour whilst also being a first wave study site for the RCOG OASI Care Bundle Trial. The Inter-Authority Transfer (IAT) process is a critical and beneficial component of ESR and following interview your previous NHS employment data, if applicable will be transferred from your current / most recent employer. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £47.50 or Standard £29.50) from your salary when you commence in post (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment.
