What you will do:
  • Provide assistance to the Head of Collections on key projects.
  • Ensure that department objects are met.
  • Overseeing the running of the department in the absence of the Head of Collections
  • Highlight any concerns they or the team may have, regarding departmental objectives/ procedures.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members
  • Ensure duties undertaken by team members, are action in a timely manner.
  • Provide constructive criticism, when required
  • Perform weekly collect reviews with team member
  • Staff appraisals
  • Attend client meetings as and when required
  • Manage your own debt ledger
  • Ensuring your own individual cash targets are met.
  • Assessment of team performance
  • Meeting individual collection targets
  • Minimising bad debt exposure
  • Reviewing team performance with regards to the Management of administrative duties which include: Call Response times, Level of outstanding Queries, Meeting collection SLA's, Reviewing client call logs

Your experience will include:
  • Previous experience as a Credit Control Supervisor
  • Previous experience in face to face meetings and ability to present information
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Performance management
  • Methodical
  • Innovative
  • Numerate and logical
