Investigo Finance are partnering with a Financial ServicesClient looking to recruit a Compliance Manager based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Compliance Manager Milton Keynes you will report into the Financial Controller taking full ownership around developing regulatory, reporting and controls to ensure the business is in compliance with new obligations and that operational procedures are robust and adaptable for growth. Responsible for the overall risk management and compliance framework across the entire business. Key duties to include:
  • Provide high quality conduct and compliance advice across all aspects of the business
  • Project related activities ensuring regulatory risks and issues are managed appropriately in accordance with the agreed risk appetites
  • Support the business in the implementation of regulatory change through to delivery by providing subject matter compliance expertise
  • Develop and embed risk frameworks across the business, whilst adapting to the business needs
  • Designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Data Protection Officer
  • Provide compliance oversight for any new product, customer or third party materials that will be communicated with the wider public or our customers
  • Ensuring risk management processes are robust and occur in a timely manner. Identifying regulatory challenges and improvements and ensuring these are addressed/implemented in good time
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with business functions to ensure effective co-operation and communication; and seeking opportunities to promote higher regulatory standards and awareness;
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and informing the Financial Controller of any significant regulatory development
  • Developing and maintaining the company's compliance culture

The Profile
  • The successful candidate will need to have in depth knowledge of FCA regulations
  • Experience of being a Data Protection Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer
  • Proven ability to create, adapt and implement standardised operating procedures that improve risk environments
  • Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral), preferably with commercial exposure in previous roles
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. sales, finance, operations, marketing

The Salary

£46,000 - £5,000 plus full benefits package
