The Role:
The Company has a current vacancy for an Integrity Engineer to work at our Teesside Operations.

Reporting to the Asset Integrity Team Leader, the candidate will provide technical knowledge and expertise to the Teesside Operations facility in support of its ongoing inspection programs and anomaly management process.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Develop the scope of work for any recommended repairs as a result of fitness-for-service evaluations.
* Manage larger packages of work that formulate from the site's inspection / anomaly programs (Inc. design, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of civil / structural / mechanical packages).
* The review of Inspection Reports and completion of Fitness for Purpose Assessments where appropriate for all static mechanical equipment (i.e. piping, vessels, exchangers, storage tanks, etc.), and civil / structural anomalies.
* Assist in the identification and ongoing evaluation / mitigation of site-specific deterioration modes (e.g. external corrosion, Internal corrosion / erosion, fluid injection, Vibration Induced Fatigue, CUI, MIC, etc.).
* Manage the temporary repair register on behalf of the Asset Integrity group working closely with Operations and Maintenance departments.
* Directing and coordinating specialist consultants and contractors on specific activities (i.e. Finite Element Analysis)
* Act as focal point with the HSE Pipelines Inspectorate.
* Working with the technical authority for Cathodic Protection look to coordinate any maintenance / improvement programs required.
* Assist the Asset Integrity Team Leader in driving continuous improvement in all aspects of the Asset Integrity department.

Our client a UK based refining and marketing company, have interests in a number of facilities in the United Kingdom, employing around 1000 people throughout the UK and over 33000 worldwide. They have had their presence on Teesside for over 30 years, processing and storing crude oil ready for shipment along with being an established supplier of bulk fuels, including LPG, to the commercial, aviation and marine industries.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree Qualified - Essential
* Extensive Asset Integrity experience in the oil and gas industry or other regulated industry - Essential
* Knowledge of codal requirements - Essential
* Inspection, corrosion and material expertise - Essential
* Interpersonal skills to interact with personnel at all levels in the organisation - Essential
* Ability to use Microsoft packages and SAP - Essential
* Holds Full UK driving licence - Essential
* Appropriate physical and mental capability to undertake the role - Essential
