Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established global business in Portsmouth. The client is looking for a Payroll Assistant for 6 months.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for:

·Processing a large monthly payroll for 450 + employees

·Processing expenses and timesheets

·Preparing statutory returns, ensuring third-party payments are paid on a timely basis, monitoring sickness and calculating sick pay, SSP and unpaid sickness.

·Assisting the finance team with payroll information for journals and budgets as required

·Dealing with payroll queries and assisting auditors with compliance checks and audits.

·Basic payroll calculations.

·Reset of user's password.

·Copy payslips.

·Adhoc duties

With onsite parking, the business is looking for the payroll assistant to join a high performing finance team.The ideal candidate will be someone with a can-do attitude who has worked in a payroll role before, dealing with multiple sites.
