Supply Teaching Assistant

Education World are seeking a Teaching Assistant in to work on a supply basis in Special Educational Needs (SEND) schools on a temporary or part-time basis.

What's the job?

This position is ideal for those who are seeking a new challenge and wanting to gain more experience working with children in a SEND environment. This would also be ideal for those not wanting full-time employment or even those at university or college part-time.

You will be asked to work at a variety of different schools in the North East but, we will always endeavour to place you at schools close to your home. Although having your own transport would be ideal.

On any day you will be assisting the teacher in the classroom to help the children with their education. This can include anything like helping with their Maths or English, setting up the classroom for the day, assisting with arts and crafts or even helping with personal care requirements.

Your typical hours will be 8:30am - 3:30pm, although this could change and is dependent on the school you work at on any given day.


You will receive between £60 - £70 per day (depending on your experience) and we will fit work around your schedule and availability.
