How tiring can politics be?

Very topical at the moment but we're not talking about Brexit. Office politics, you can't escape them. You can here, though.

When you're working in the creative space, utilising your team for their knowledge and ideas shouldn't be taken for granted. They may see something different to what you see. Pick up on ways to improve and push you to be your best. No egos or 'I know best-ers'.

You'll be surrounded by a handful of chilled out creatives who love what they do and enjoy each other's company. This isn't a big office buzzing with people, problems and patronising management. It is pretty cool though; we can send you some pictures. Think converted barn and big (massive) plush velvet sofa and you're close.

You'll be valued and you'll be trusted. Two huge things which so often get overlooked. You know what you're doing, you've been designing for a while now and it's what you love best.

Coming from another agency you may be used to doing things a certain way, and of course like anywhere, they have a certain way here, too. But you'll be given space to innovate and try new things. Nothing worse than following boring briefs and not having space to actually design.

In an ideal world you'll be skilled in brand development, typography and have top notch layout skills. You'll be an all-rounder and put your hand to most things.

It's 2019 so most of your work will be designed for digital, but you'll need a good understanding of the print process and have confidence to liaise with the printers to ensure you've got what you needed.

You'll get £28,000, 25 days holiday (plus your 8 bank holidays), no egos and a relaxed office on a beautiful farm in rural Oxfordshire. Which does mean you'll need to be able to drive, or at least on the Kingham rail line.

I'd love to talk more about this one with you. You can call me (number on OX Seven website), email or connect on LinkedIn. If you have a CV that's great, you can send it over, but I understand not everyone has one updated. So we can always chat first.

Every applicant will receive a response.
