Appointments will not usually be made above point L10 (£28,914) and progression beyond point L10 is subject to the attainment of certain qualifications

Hours: 37 hours per week

A Golden Handshake of £3,000 is applicable which is payable on joining along with up to £2000 relocation expenses.

You will teach on a range of Engineering courses. The majority of teaching will be with level 3 and level 4 fulltime students and apprentices. To have the ability to teach a range of engineering subjects at these levels will be highly advantageous. You must have an HNC qualification in Engineering or equivalent. Up-to-date experience in education/training or proven industry experience. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining one at level 5 within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
