Dalys has a 23-year heritage and was launched to supply, install and maintain telecommunications systems. Today its portfolio has expanded to become a leading business solutions provider with a range of products from on-site systems to hosted services, multi-site businesses, line and call provision and call monitoring software, cabling and IP CCTV, and of course mobiles.

As part of the companies continued growth, we are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the Accounts and Billing function of the business. Duties of the role will include;

  • Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger month end processes.
  • Responsibility for processing and analysing the monthly bill run.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer invoice queries.
  • Working with the Projects team to ensure new services are billed correctly first time. Producing reports from billing data to present to senior management.
  • Assisting the Finance Director with the production of month end accounts.
  • Acting as the escalation point for credit control matters and taking any further action deemed necessary.
  • Ensuring the Finance Department supports the wider business with information when required.
  • Management of 1 direct report (a part time Accounts Assistant).

The successful Finance Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years in a financial position.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Proven ability of working to tight deadlines.
  • A demonstrable desire to add value in the role.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills along with a willingness to learn new software systems.
  • Previous experience within the telecoms industry would be highly advantageous, although not essential. Additionally, any financial related certifications / qualifications would be advantageous.

In return we offer a package consisting of:
  • Up to £30k Basic salary (dependant on experience/qualifications)
  • Profit share scheme after 12 months employment
  • Pension scheme
  • Up to 28 days holiday (pro-rata) inclusive of bank holidays rising to 36 days with service
  • Standard working Hours would be Mon-Fri 8.30 - 17.00. (with some possible flexibility)
