Experienced Project Finance Accountants required to join Innovate UK on a fixed term contract basis.

Your new role
You'll work as part of the Project Finance team alongside a team of Management Accountants who are responsible for reviewing and approving the financial viability of successful grant applicants. You'll be responsible for delivering a financial review of grant applicants Management Accounts, reviewing the financial eligibility of the project against State Aid policies and reporting on the status of these reviews to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll liaise with applicants to resolve potential issues that arise and escalate as required to senior colleagues. You'll work closely with the operations team to ensure the results of the project financial reviews are integrated into the project portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need demonstrable experience of completing management accounts with a recognised finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc). You'll need to be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, analyse financial data accurately and have an inquisitive nature. You'll need to manage your workload to ensure project SLA's are met in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to this you'll earn between £30,782 - £33,459 per annum with 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus privilege days. This role is being offered on a two-year fixed term contract basis and will be based in the Swindon office.
