Becoming a Marketing Executive with Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure:

Job description:

A Marketing Executive is needed to join our external and internal marketing team at Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure based in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in all aspects of marketing in a friendly B2B environment, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing. You will be responsible for editing and publishing news and service updates on our websites; project manage newsletters, client mailings and branded marketing materials. You will have a pivotal role assisting other members of the team to build brand awareness, increase our presence in the marketplace and promote the business in key industry sectors.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinate with different business units to gather and create content for our intranet, websites, social media platforms and other general marketing literature;
  • Editing and creating new web pages;
  • Create and send HTML based emails using the company's email campaign software (training will be provided);
  • Organise, attend and minute marketing meetings;
  • Assist with event and database management activities.

What you'll be doing:
  • Design and marketing collateral - Photography, sourcing images, content creation working with the marketing team and our property professionals.
  • Meetings - Organising and matching calendars, taking minutes and representing the team at internal and external meetings
  • Database management -Updating and changing established databases and contracts
  • Merchandise, branding and general -Managing inventory, obtaining quotes and administering the procurement process supporting fee earners acting as a point of contact for queries and other business related request.
  • Charity - Assistance with coordinating promotional branded merchandise to support staff with charitable activities as this helps to increase our social value as a business
  • Digital - Involving creating and posting content, social media management emailing campaigns and the editing of publications.

What we're looking for:

It is not essential you have a marketing degree however professional qualifications and experience is also highly valued. This will not be your first marketing role and you must be comfortable with a fast-paced position which will have you running with multiple projects at a time.

It is essential that you are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel and that you have sound written and verbal communication skills as you will be creating content and proof reading regularly. A strong understanding and experience of using CMS and the creation of html email campaigns would also be a plus.

You will be conscientiousness with attention to detail and the energy to be self-motivated and keen to learn. You will have the ability to work well in a team whilst creating lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders and your excellent time-management, organisational and administrative skills will allow you to act quickly and effectively to meet deadlines and support our best in class offering.
