Salary: MPS - UPS (£24,373 - £40,490)

Location: Colchester

Start date: September 2020

On behalf of a large primary-only trust of schools, we are recruiting for primary teachers for their schools in and around the Colchester area. As one of these schools is expanding, they are in a position to start recruiting for the next academic year. They are looking for teachers for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 positions to start in September 2020. As such, these roles will be suitable for NQTs or experienced teachers seeking a new role and possibly additional responsibilities. As part of a large trust, each of the school's has an extensive network of support available, access to trust CPD and opportunities for career growth.

The trust is looking for teachers who share their commitment to providing great learning experiences, always set high standards and are uncompromising in their ambitions and aspirations for the children they teach.

You will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), after completing a PGCE, Graduate Teaching Program (GTP), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), QTLS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
Have prior experience of teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (NQTs should refer to their placement experiences)
Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and/or the primary National Curriculum
Have a thorough working knowledge of assessment for learning strategies
Be able to enthuse pupils through engaging and interactive lessons
Have a dedicated and creative approach when planning lessons and delivering learning activities
Differentiate effectively, ensuring that the needs of all learners are met, including those pupils on the EAL and SEN registers
Promote positive behaviour and use a range of behaviour management strategies effectively
Have a positive work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to your own development and a willingness to share good practice
Create a fun, safe and inspiring learning environment, setting high expectations of achievement, supporting children to reach their full potential
