What we are looking for! We are currently seeking a helpful, flexible, self-starter to join our small and friendly team in Dartford as a Workshop Technician. The role will see you use your practical skills to oversee the daily running of the workshop, and ability to cover a diverse list of workshop tasks throughout the working week to include; assembly and test of all products manufactured in site. Additionally, you must be able to independently notice the next task and action it accordingly, as well as having a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate would have recent and relevant workshop experience in a similar role. Additionally, a keen eye for detail coupled with a willingness to learn are key, along with excellent interpersonal skills as there will be a regular and ongoing need to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for: Overseeing the daily running of the workshop in conjunction with the Operations Manager. Assembly and test of all products manufactured at the Dartford facility. Site installation works as required. Sub-assembly build - mechanical Sub-assembly build - electrical Final build Final test Preparation for despatch Workplace housekeeping Build level status Achieving production targets Repair of customer returns Support of field service/installation staff Support of stores staff General Other ad hoc tasks as defined by your line manager You are required to carry out your duties in accordance with the company's Health and safety policies and procedures and adhere to all externally relevant health & safety laws.
