You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the apprenticeship Team Leading Supervisor standard's to successful completion of the qualification. You will work from home , managing your own diary with a case load of up to 40 Apprentices. This role is to cover the South of Engalnd so you will visit apprentices at various locations, so you must be comfortable with travel.

It is essential that you have excellent vocational experience in managing people to be able to deliver the Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship Standard and hold the appropriate level of qualification. In addition, you will be required to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment of Functional Skills up to and including Level 2 and therefore hold the appropriate level of qualification to meet Awarding Organisation requirements.

As an essential car user, you must hold a full UK driving licence, be a confident and able driver, have access to your own vehicle and have the right to live and work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Plan and deliver a training programme that ensures a robust ILP and regular reviews of learner progress
  • Ensure all learner records and reporting kept up to date and provided in a timely manner to support management reporting and audit requirement
  • Liaise with our Functional Skills tutor to support framework achievement and the embedding of Functional Skills within your contextual delivery
  • Provide robust exit advise to learners as they set personal goals for career progression
  • Facilitate learning for leaners, adhering to the standards of the apprenticeship program to ensure consistency and fairness throughout all assessment delivery techniques. And, provide meaningful and specific feedback to leaners to support progression.
  • Deliver a balanced KPI's in line with Company expectations
  • Operate within the delivery framework to maintain operational consistency and ensure learner progress
  • Ensure all learners receive the highest quality experience in line with company expectations and external requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the sector plan
  • Participate in quality assurance activities working closely with the quality team.
  • Drive self - generation across the area you operate within
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing learner and clients assuring the Learning Curve brand is synonymous with and recognised for quality of service
  • Ensure CPD is planned and reflects Company and stakeholder requirements as guided by the quality team.
  • To be a vocational expert within the designated sector
  • Contribute to ad hoc cross sector/function projects to support the delivery of Learning Curve's strategic plan
  • Role model the organisation's values and behaviours
Essential Criteria
  • Qualified and able to deliver Functional Skills in English and Maths at level 2
  • Vocational qualification at a level to meet awarding organisation requirements and at least to level above being delivered in the relevant area or:
  • 1 year recent and relevant experience of working within vocational area
  • D32/D33 or A1 Award or TAQA or CAVA
  • Teaching qualification
  • Engaging classroom delivery
  • Level 3 in management qualification or higher
  • 2 years' experience in the role of a team leader / manager.

Learners are at the centre of everything we do, so in order to keep them safe you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references if offered this post.

Salary OTE £27,000
