- 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday (flexibility TBD)

With the picturesque office set in the outskirts of Northampton, where the rolling countryside lends a fantastic backdrop for a stunning Show Garden, this small & friendly team are looking to add to their office team, an Accounts Assistant, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working for this leading manufacturer in a niche industry, providing incredible products to suit all kind of clientele, this is role involves working B2C and B2B, providing finance, accounts, and credit control assistance, as well as general office duties.

Due to the nature & importance of this role, high levels of numeracy, accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills are desired.

Experience with Sage or other accounting systems, and Excel, is highly advantageous, as well as a history of working within a Finance environment.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Prior to deliveries, ensure customer account balances are up to date, receipts are allocated as per remittances, and credit control
  • Process sales & supplier invoices, customer receipts, and discuss/resolve supplier & customer account queries
  • Maintain finance spreadsheets, reconcile supplier statements, set up new accounts, and manage existing accounts
  • Daily banking duties including supplier payment runs, and daily bank transaction postings
