MiddletonMurray on behalf of FNTC are currently recruiting for an Apprenticeship Trainer Manager to join their Delivery Team. The purpose of the role is to achieve business objectives working in conjunction with Apprenticeship Trainers, employers and workplace supervisors. Supporting Apprenticeship Trainers through the assessment process in line with awarding body guidelines.To monitor and manage a team of Apprenticeship Trainers to ensure that the learners receive an appropriate level of service and that the team delivers contractual outcomes and profitably in line with MM core objectives. Quality Management is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities of the role:

Progress and engage with Apprenticeship Trainers, effectively managing own Apprenticeship Trainer caseload, so as to ensure maximum completion rate with appropriate documentation completed in a timely fashion.

Maintain robust assessment/ verification and MIS monitoring systems accurately

Review portfolios on an ongoing basis, advising and developing Apprenticeship Trainer's capabilities according to any patterns or trends identified, so that the maximum numbers of learners are completed to the appropriate standards and timescales.

Promote an understanding of the standards required for each contract, so that the Apprenticeship Trainer team are conscious of the failed outcomes.

Staff Management - Guide, motivate, monitor and develop all team members to ensure that they are appropriately trained and to maximise their performance against company targets.

Partner/ Stakeholder Management - Maintain relationships with key employers and members of awarding bodies so as to effectively position MM for new and additional work.

Knowledge Management - Ensures that own and team's knowledge of best practice, specialist area, funding arrangements, accreditation standards and process (internal and external) are kept current and that the team are ready to respond to any significant changes.

Person Specification:

Apprenticeship Trainer qualification

Experience gained within a commercial training, provider, college or customer-focused environment.

Experience of involvement with SME, unemployed and/or disadvantaged people.

Previous MIS monitoring experience.

Previous people management responsibility comparable to the Centre's operation.

Previous experience of dealing with the awarding body, government departments and/or complex contracting arrangements.

Results driven and focused.

Strategic in approach with a clear understanding of both personal and branch enrolment pipeline.

Client focused, able to sell and resolve basic client issues without fuss

Strong interpersonal skills, able to build a good report with learners from a variety of backgrounds

Able to communicate with clients at all level and be able to influence their decisions.

In depth knowledge of the company and its USPs
