As the Service Design and Transition process manager you'll be part of a team responsible for driving the success of new Services and updating new standards or models for existing services. A great new opportunity at Coventry University as currently we are implementing our new ServiceNow technology but there are also many great projects in the pipeline such as NAY (New Academic Year), Service Asset & Configuration Management, SOC mobilisation to name but a few.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the delivery of quality solutions to the customer that incorporate Service requirements as part of their design.
* Define, document and update the service design standards and models for new and existing services ensuring they're cost effective, quality assured and backed by robustly scoped service agreements.
* Managing the transition process where you'll define, implement and manage the global process for transitioning new services and changes to existing services into steady state operations.
* Support the Enterprise Service Architect to provide input into the service strategy and design board.
* Engage with stakeholders managing expectations and providing insight into new services to build confidence and ensure project success.

KEY SKILLS
* A degree relevant to IS/IT or full membership of an IS/IT professional body or substantial experience in lieu of the above which demonstrates a professional approach to IS/IT development.
* A level 3 Service Management framework qualification and knowledge of lifecycle or capability elements of ITIL.

* Confident stakeholder engagement understanding and able to present to board level.
* ITIL knowledge and experience.
* Confident within project lifecycles and leading transitions.
* Broad experience of Service Management Tools.
