Year 2 teacher - Bolton

Due to a maternity leave in the Key Stage 1 department, a school in the Little Lever, Bolton (BL3) area is currently looking for a teacher for the Year 2 class starting in January 2020 and at the end of the academic year.

The Head teacher is looking for a teacher with previous experience in Key Stage 1 to join the staffing team and continue the school's excellent provision. The school can offer the successful candidate a Level 3 teaching assistant to support the pupils in the classroom and lead interventions and also PPA cover for lesson planning and marking. In return, the Head expects the teacher to fully immerse themselves in the whole school life, marking and evaluating pupil's progress, helping in extra curricular activities and parents evening.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Be enthusiastic and committed to high expectations of behaviour
Be passionate about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context
The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a Year 2 and SATs prep.

The Bolton primary school has recently been graded GOOD by Ofsted and is a small and friendly school with good transport links to the school. The primary school is proud to be at the heart of the local community which shares the schools warm and inclusive ethos.

Start date - January 2020
Salary from £23,720 - £39,406 pro rata
