The Company

Our client is a leading engineering company that specialise in Industrial Control Systems for a number of blue-chip clients.

Due to the continued growth and success within their six locations, they are now seeking an additional Project Manager to join their successful team in Warrington.

Job Purpose

You will be supporting engineers and liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

As the Project Manager, your duties will be:
  • Manage the lifecycle of projects from quoting to completion.
  • Review designs and documents for the engineering team.
  • Carry out site surveys and pre-tender discussions with clients.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Conduct contract reviews and negotiation.
  • Select and manage any sub-contractors required for completion of projects.
  • Lead a team of engineering and when needed, contractors and sub-contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget and quality requirements.

The ideal Project Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Must have experience of delivering control system, PLC and SCADA type projects.
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients.
  • Experience of working in an Engineering environment.
  • Contractual awareness would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel etc.
  • Highly motivated, organised and flexible.
  • Must have a positive and personable attitude.
