An exciting opportunity for a highly successful, established company based in the heart of Altrincham who offer a niche service to their clients are seeking a professional individual to join their existing successful team and become an Account Manager.

Your new role

Working in bright and modern surroundings, as the Account Manager you will be responsible for providing a professional full end to end service to their clients. Your role which is fully office based provides a niche service to all clients which will include regular communication and updates for a set of portfolio of key accounts coupled with a full administrative function.

Within the Account Management role you will have the skill and ability to assess and use questioning methods to ascertain the business needs.

The role of Account Manager is a crucial and vital link within the business to ensure the smooth running and efficient handling of confidential information with the ability to communicate with member at all levels.

You will be responsible for:-

  • Able to liaise with key decision makers in a confident and professional manner.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Obtaining client records, reports & information from clients in order to progress their client accounts along with any additional information required for the submission of information, whilst maintaining accurate records on our internal system.
  • Working towards agreed daily, weekly and monthly individual/ team targets to meet the annual Company revenue target
  • Excellent time management skills in order to plan and organise tasks effectively, taking a structured and methodical approach to achieving outcomes with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and IT skills to include data processing, typing and internet research abilities with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Remains calm and professional under pressure, defusing conflict and being prepared to take control when required
  • To be successful, you will have a strong passion and enthusiasm for Account Management coupled with strong verbal and written proficiency to engage to offer the highest level of customer service
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude


What you'll need to succeed
