Through our innovations, customers across a wide variety of industries - including automotive, security, connected devices, lighting, industrial and infrastructure - are able to differentiate their products through features, cost of ownership and/or time-to-market.NXP in the UK are looking for a Commercial Marketing Manager to be based in our Glasgow office.As Commercial Marketing Manager you will report into the EMEA & Asia Commercial Marketing Manager this role is responsible for leading the Asia Commercial Marketing team and the associated commercial and change management activities supporting both Direct and Distribution customers.This provides a strongly customer facing role that is consistently challenging and will involve regular travel to Asia.The key tasks include:Responsibility for leading the Asia Commercial Marketing teamResponsibility for pricing includingManaging the quotation process and associated strategy/analysis for new business opportunities in support of design win targetsManaging the analysis and execution of annual customer Price Agreements strategies and negotiationsProviding analysis for updating/improving Price Matrices and StrategiesAssist the Global Commercial Marketing Director on key initiativesAnalysing demand and providing updates on business outlookGeneration of detailed long range plansClaim resolution managementEngaging with Sales and customers to manage all aspects of change management including securing approval on Process Change (PCN) approvals and Product TerminationsYour profileThe successful candidate will have:Business Management, Marketing or Engineering DegreeExperience in a customer facing environmentCommercial awareness and understanding of pricing & negotiation.Knowledge of semiconductors and microcontrollers in particular is preferredAn understanding of the automotive electronics market would be beneficialFurthermore, you have:The ability to develop and lead a high performance teamExcellent presentation and communication skills coupled with good interpersonal skillsCustomer focussed outlookTeam working mindset and abilityStrong organisational and planning skillsAnalytical capabilitiesWillingness to travelAre you as excited about this opportunity as we are we kindly invite you to apply.
