My client is looking for an experienced IT Digital Learning Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Digital Learning Consultant will work closely with the Learning and Development department in delivering compelling and sustainable digital eLearning solutions.

You will be the subject matter expert on digital learning technologies and solutions. Using specialist technical skills, tools, instructional design principles, storyboards, media assets and established design methodologies; plan, design, develop and deliver compelling and sustainable digital eLearning solutions.

Key areas of responsibility include

* Developing and delivering new digital learning projects as they develop from the Learning and Development, People, Business and Technical strategies.

* Developing, sharing and evolving the digital learning practice framework and methodology.

* Ensuring digital learning solutions are fit for purpose, secure and aligned to strategy and relevant policies.

* Overseeing the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) platform, including liaison with platform representatives and suppliers, to ensure: support, problem management, diagnostics, performance and quality are maintained.

* Keeping up to date knowledge of trends in digital learning design and exploiting them for the improvement of systems/strategies.

* Testing and assessing new releases and functionality in technology platforms to address existing demand from customers across the business.

You will need to have;

* Experience in a digital learning design role and the production of engaging high-quality content.

* Experience in the administration of integrated LMS platform solutions in a complex business environment. Ideally Moodle.

* Strong understanding of the principles of SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) alongside specialist authoring tools, in particular, Articulate Storyline.

* Ability to solve business problems through the application and exploitation of enterprise technologies.

* Approachable and customer-focused; capable of engaging with employees and customers across all levels of the business
