Sales Ledger & Credit Control Accounts Assistant, near Darlington, salary up to £24,000

Your new company
A successful, locally based business with multiple sites is looking to enhance their finance team with the appointment of an experienced Sales Ledger & Credit Control Clerk. This role has been specifically created to ensure their ongoing digitisation of the finance department is completed successfully.

Your new role
With a specific focus on the sales and debtors ledgers you will play a key part in ensuring the introduction of a paperless ledger, where sales invoices and statements are all generated via a digital portal. You will also play a key part in enhancing current procedures and controls enabling the ongoing automation and improved working practices across the finance department to be rolled out across all the sites.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced sales ledger & credit control clerk who has ideally previously implemented, or worked in a paperless accounts environment. You will enjoy a challenge and thrive in a fast paced environment. You will also have a desire to share knowledge and guide and train others around you.
