Looking for a role where making decisions and influencing business growth is part of your everyday? A role where your input will be valued, and you will have the chance to work closely with the operation management team to make things better?

If company ethos is also key to your decision making for your next role then read on. Built on a culture of freethinking, personal empowerment and accountability, my client seeks an ambitious management accountant to join their team.

You'll be joining a growing US business with a record of organic expansion and acquisition. With a portfolio focussed on the US and UK markets, they are well set to continue their positive momentum.

With on site manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to fully appreciate the product lifecycle and understand the design and manufacturing process from the bottom up.

The team is close knit with a feel good factor about how they operate. Open plan with a sometimes questionable choice of music in the background, you will be joining an organisation where people enjoy coming to work. They operate a 37 hour week with the ability to work flexibly between 7am - 7pm. Most people opt for an early Friday finish!

A bit more about the role:
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
  • Provide detailed insight into variances
  • Monthly consolidation of group accounts
  • Completion of key reports to parent company and company Directors
  • Preparation of quarterly forecast
  • Coordination and consolidation of annual budget
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting foreign entity finance personnel
  • Weekly KPI reporting and Cashflow forecasting
  • Participation in the preparation of annual budgets and capital expenditure plans

Ideally, you will have experience within a similar position but wanting to make a step up is no bad thing. Equally, if you seek a move out of practice into a completely different environment, nothing is ruled out. You will be close to qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or recently qualified. If you need financial / study support the this will be no issue. If you could bring strong Excel and modelling skills to the party, even better.

Why Apply?

The role is offering a very competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum with a range of benefits such as performance bonus company pension and a generous holiday allowance with the ability to buy and sell.
