As the Finance Systems Analyst -Enhancements and Projects you will be part of a small team providing comprehensive support in relation to the SAP ByD system, ensuring that all data elements are appropriately set up, users are trained, and SAP knowledge is continuously improved across the group.

In support of Finance and business change initiatives you will provide representation for the Finance systems portion of the change, to offer advice in respect of the functionality available. Researching and trialling options in our development system and seeking technical advice from our 3rd party support partners, to ensure we optimise ByD to deliver the required business improvements.

You will also be supporting business users with the uploading of master data elements into ByD to prepare the system for testing and go live as new functionality is introduced and taking responsibility for training users on the new functionality.

Finally, you will be supporting the Finance Systems Senior Analyst to manage a controlled move to the production environment.

  • In depth knowledge of one or more Finance Processes - Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report
  • Excellent systems understanding of Finance functionality in SAP ByD or ECC environments
  • Proven organisation skills and ability to drive actions through to clear outcome
  • Used to engaging stakeholders at different levels and from different business areas

  • Periodic travel away from the office, site visits or other operating companies
  • Provide Finance Systems expertise in support of Finance and Business improvement initiatives to ensure ByD solution is optimised and benefits are achieved
  • Support business users through system test phase, ensure security profiles are maintained, master data is available, and any errors are resolved as a matter of urgency
  • Produce cut over plan to agree with Finance Managers how data will be moved across to live system in readiness for go-live
  • Work with Senior Finance Analyst to ensure live environment is prepared for go-live
  • Ensure business users are trained in preparation for using the new functionality
  • Support users for agreed "warranty period" post go-live
  • Ensure that additional functionality is fully documented and added to team repository
  • 5 years SAP ByD or ECC experience
  • Finance function or Shared Services experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Team leader or Super User background, used to troubleshooting process and system issues
