To support our strategy of growth and regeneration we want to ensure we have the right skills in place for the future and we want to ensure a thorough transfer of specialist knowledge from our experienced staff. With these aims in mind, we are looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join our Sensitising production department.

In this role you will be providing specialist technical support to improve the efficiency and reliability of our plants and processes. This will include first line fault diagnosis and root cause analysis to resolve plant problems within a production environment. You will collect, analyse and present data to identify and then resolve those problems, whilst applying lean and continuous improvement methodologies to improve the plant and ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance.

Ideal Candidate:

MEng in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Should be in a professional body and either be Chartered or working towards Chartership

Experienced in a production engineering environment, evidence of making plant efficiencies.

Will have proven technical competence and the ability to understand complex chemical process and operating plants.

Solid appreciation of H&S regulations

Demonstrable knowledge of machine and chemical safety regulations

Proven ability to communicate both verbally and in written form in a technical context.

Have great attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving skills

Be curious, with a thirst to learn new skills and technology.

Due to the nature of our business you would also need to be able to work in safelight conditions and total darkness.

Must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK
