Salary Range: £21,570 - £29,715 per annum (Salary is dependent on level of qualification).

Contract Type: Maternity cover 0.6 FTE and Fixed term 0.2

Hours: 0.8 FTE 29.6 hours per week

0.6 FTE 22.2hours per week maternity cover from 23/01/18

0.2 FTE (7.4 hours per week) fixed term (starts 23/01/18 until 06/07/18)

SGS College has a highly successful and expanding Academic Sport & Public Services Department delivery a range of FE and HE provision.

We require a highly flexible, motivated individual to undertake a range of teaching, learning and assessment across the Academic Sport study programmes. This will potentially range from Foundation level up to and including Level 5 (likely L3 to L4). Experience of vocational delivery, a learner centric approach, a tangible passion for the subject area and being an effective team player is extremely desirable. The role will also include tutorial responsibilities, which requires a proactive, highly communicative and clear approach with all appropriate college services to support learner progress.

This specific role will focus on vocational sports programme with potential of some HE delivery. A sound insight and application of pedagogy with learners (FE)/students (HE) and ability to delivery consistency good are the foundations of the incumbent.

You will be responsible for supporting and driving the success of learners on their Study Programme.

You will have a passion for developing learners' skills and will support and inspire them in achieving their Long-Term Goals. You have the ability to manage your own workload, show initiative, gain support and guidance when required, embrace a collaborative team approach and be an advocate of learning and growth.
