UniCarriers have an exciting opportunity for an IT Administrator to join the team in Thame, Oxfordshire. You will join them of a full time, permanent basis and receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum.

UniCarriers are a global manufacturer and supplier of industrial forklift trucks. The UK subsidiary is the most successful in Europe and has recently celebrated its 50th birthday.

Our parent company, Mitsubishi Logisnext Co., is the world's third-largest forklift manufacturer and employs over 5,000 people worldwide. As our Mechanical Engineer you will carry out planned maintenance and modifications on a range of handling machinery/forklift trucks.

We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator who will support the UK and Europe hybrid infrastructure across 5 data Centres and 10 offices, therefore, ideally you will have experience of working in a multi office or multi country organisation.

Responsibilities of our IT Administrator include:

- Primary responsibility for the UK data centre

- Maintaining, upgrading and managing software, hardware and networks, primarily in the Microsoft product stack

- Installation & configuration of software/hardware on prem & cloud

- Manage & maintain local network and services

- Monitor performance and maintain systems

- Troubleshoot issues and outages

- Manage backup & restore tasks (Veeam)

- Support European Infrastructure team

- Setup and maintain technical documentation and manuals

- Support 1st line incidents and service requests as required

What we're looking for in our IT Administrator:

You will have at least 3 years' experience in all or most of the following;

- Microsoft Server 2012-2016 and their enterprise roles

- Practical experience of DNS, DHCP, sharing & security, GPO's, Powershell, AV products, InTune, SCCM

- Networking and switch management (Cisco)

- Working knowledge of identity, device and data security

- Data backup/recovery (Veeam)

- Enterprise class backup solutions, preferably Veeam & Symantec.

- Experience in a hybrid infrastructure environment with on prem (HPE) and cloud data centres

- Azure or other private cloud (AWS)

- VMware v5 - v6.7, maintenance and support

- You will understand firewall policies & principles, VoIP, Wi-Fi, VLAN's, VPN technologies, WAN, SDWAN/MPLS, RDS/RES

- Windows 10, Office 365 user environment

- Office 365 administration in an Enterprise environment

- You will have a verifiable professional certification from Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE
