Role Purpose:

Are you an experienced Account Manager with a track record of managing a portfolio of customers ideally in the

flexible procurement arena? Our client a FTSE 250 Energy Consultancy going through an exciting period of major growth. They are looking for an Account Manager to guide their clients through the procurement process and to deliver an excellent service. Ideally the Account Manager will have a solid understanding of flexible procurement and non-commodity cost. Sounds interesting? Apply today!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular strategy meetings with clients
  • Tailor energy procurement products based on each client's individual circumstances
  • Deliver a cohesive procurement experience to clients
  • Work closely with Data Team to deliver seamless service
  • Build strong relationships with your clients
  • Extending/renewing contracts when applicable
  • Cross selling of company products and services where possible
  • Work closely with Bid Manager to assist with bespoke proposal production where necessary

Experience Required:
  • Successful track record of working in the B2B energy market
  • Ideally an understanding of flexible procurement products
  • The ability to build strong relationships at all levels, with solid negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively across departments to ensure a coherent service delivery
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • An understanding of current and forthcoming regulations which impact energy users
  • Able to work well under pressure, enthusiastic, professional and motivated
  • Being a multi linguist would be beneficial
