Your new company

Top UK Law Firm seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to provide effective service to the team, as well as to the firm overall. The purpose of the role is to raise and pay invoices, as well as produce reports, in a timely manner.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, you will process and pay weekly staff expenses in a timely manner. You will be pro-active in contributing suggestions, which will improve service. You will produce accurate and concise reports, with the ability to demonstrate the data within. You will ensure that the monthly purchase ledger invoices are competed and processed in a timely manner. You will develop strong working relationships with partners and team members. You will also complete any ad-hoc tasks as necessary, while continuing to ensure that purchase ledger activities are finalised.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have strong experience in Purchase Ledger. You will have excellent numeracy and Excel skills, as well as a good understanding of VAT and VAT rules. You will preferably have an understanding of accruals and payments, as well as knowledge of the SRA Accounts rules. It is also desirable to have an understanding of Money Laundering regulations as well as experience of expense management systems.

You will be a permanent, full-time Purchase Ledger Assistant, supporting the finance team. The role boasts £23,000 per annum, as well as an extensive package. This package includes private health insurance, life insurance, as well as an onsite gym and café.
