No Position Type Management Start Your Journey With Us JOB SUMMARY This role is part of the UK Above Property Marketing Teamfor Marriott Hotels Limited, who collectively are responsible for the revenuegeneration marketing efforts for the 54 participating hotels, including London,Provincial and Country Clubs properties This position is a key member of the UK Above PropertyMarketing Team and is accountable for the development and execution of food andbeverage (F&B) marketing activity to drive revenues against the food andbeverage segments for the participating hotels of the UK Shared ServiceMarketing budget. Responsible for developing and executing national marketingactivity, including development of annual marketing plans, executingadvertising campaigns and promotions, and supporting assets and activationpacks, for F&B, and property level F&B marketing activity Works closely with the Director Segment Marketing UK, AreaDirector Operations UK, CLS Food & Beverage Team, and key above propertyand property stakeholders including CDoS, Cluster GM, Property Sales &Marketing and Property Food & Beverage Teams. CandidateProfile Education & Experience * BA Degree in marketing related function orequivalent higher education experience * 3+ years progressive work experience in amarketing related role * Food and beverage or hospitality marketingrelated experience required Skillsand Knowledge * Demonstrates end to endproject and marketing campaign management skills, including briefing, planning,execution and analysis of marketing activity * Demonstrates strongorganizational and marketing planning skills, and the ability to managemultiple projects and marketing plans at once * Demonstrates an analyticaland detail oriented approach to planning, including evidence of marketingplanning based on business performance goals, campaign learnings, financialdata and industry research * Demonstrates a workingknowledge of digital marketing techniques, including but not limited toplanning and assessing digital media, including programmatic media buyingpractices and paid social media, application of social media channels, use ofcustomer communication channels including email, website management * Demonstrate experience ofstakeholder management, including managing multiple stakeholder relationshipsand application of appropriate communication methods across multiplestakeholders * Ability to identifyspecific action steps, accountabilities and timelines for workload includingable to hold self and others accountable for achieving results * Demonstrates a workingknowledge of current professional and industry trends, processes, legal issues,technological enhancements for hospitality and marketing techniques, and keepsup-to-date on available resources that can help to better serve customers'needs * Continuously looks formethods and ways of working to improve organizational performance, output andresults of marketing activity * Ability to expressesoneself clearly, concisely and effectively in one-on-one and group settings,both written and verbally, to a wide range of stakeholders, and demonstrateexperience in delivering clear, evenly paced presentations to gain consensus onmarketing initiatives, using visually engaging content and alternative ways ofcommunicating * Demonstrates an eye fordetail and experience of delivering high quality and professional marketingcreative, developed both internally and through the use of appropriate agencyresources * Demonstrates experience ofmanaging and building successful agency resource relationships, includingbriefing, assessment of output, account management and financial reviews * Acts decisively to recoverfrom mistakes: knows how to develop/propose/initiate solutions and when toinvolve leader * Gains the confidence andtrust of others through their own authenticity, ethical standards andfollow-through on commitments * Acts independentlyto improve and increase skills and knowledge * Ability to use standardsoftware applications, such as Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledgeof PowerPoint and Excel * Works effectively within ateam-based environment CoreWork Activities * Work with the Director SegmentMarketing and Area Director Operations to support with the development andexecution with all elements of food and beverage (F&B) marketing activityincluding promotions, branding, media campaigns, partnership activity andindividual property support * Manage the development andexecution of F&B marketing activity on a national, regional and local level,including annual calendar of marketing activity and property level activationplans, briefing, budget setting, creative and execution development, mediaplanning, and reporting * Manage the branding andcontinued develop
