We are currently recruiting for an entry level data analyst/ category analyst to join a rapidly growing FMCG company with a fantastic globally recognised brand. You will be working in a vibrant, open plan office in an office of just under 50. Your responsibilities: * Management of data - customer EPOS, market data and ad-hoc insight * Keep data centralised, up to date, fit for use and accessible * Liaise with data agencies * Generate insight from the data that drives actions at customer level * Work closely supporting the sales teams * Production of planograms and management of our space planning system. * Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes * Set up and maintain automated data processes * Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing * Produce and track key performance indicators * Develop and support reporting processes * Monitor and audit data quality * Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques * Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools * Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisation Your Skills/ Experience * 1-year experience in a similar role * Able to handle and organise large volumes of data * Able to work collaboratively across the business, and to engage internal and external stakeholders * Good analytical skills * Excellent communication skills & highly numerate * Strong IT skills and quick to learn new systems * The ability to help manage complex development projects under tight schedules * Attention to detail and strong organisational skills * Excellent written communication skills * Able to work well in a team and under own initiative * A self-starter who is capable of meeting deadlines Desirable Experience: * Knowledge of space planning systems such as Pros pace or Spaceman * Experience with Nielsen, IRI, Kantar and HIM!
