Oakleaf have an exciting opportunity for a clinical services manager to join our fantastic hospital based in Norfolk.

Southern Hill Hospital has 25 mental health beds across two wards, as well as a 5 bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Southern Hill Hospital is able to offer a 24 hour acute admission within a safe and secure environment.

Southern Hill Hospital provides assessment, care and treatment to people who are experiencing their first episode of mental health symptoms, and to those experiencing long term and enduring mental illness, supporting them in their journey to recovery.

We are now expanding the site and looking for the right candidate to join the team.

Use your clinical expertise and strong managerial skills to make a real difference

You will play a vital role supporting the Hospital Director in the delivery of exceptional quality, person centred care.

The ideal candidate will be a strong and dedicated leader, who is passionate about delivering consistently high levels of care. You will need to be a proactive individual, with excellent administration and clinical skills, who will ensure the team delivers excellent person centred care, helping each service users or patient enjoy the highest possible standards of life.

Duties will include:

* Leading by example to ensure consistently high levels of care are maintained

* Helping with the Day to Day management of the hospital supported by the hospital Director

* Promote professional, clinical training & care & support planning within the hospital to maintain the health, welfare and wellbeing of the patients.

* Manage, maintain and oversee Registered nurses

* Clinical audits and reporting

* Family relationship building

* Staff supervision and appraisal

* Training of staff

* Delivering hands on care when required including some shift work (days, nights and weekends)

Management of staff - supervisions, appraisals and implementation of HR processes.

Audit processes and maintaining compliance.

Clinical accountability for mental health services.

Experience/Involvement in senior teams.

On call responsibilities.

* Participation of on call rotas

This role would suit someone who has significant experience at a senior nurse level looking to make the next step in their career.

* Have a valid NMC PIN

* Have sound clinical knowledge & strong leadership qualities

* Be eligible to work in the UK

* Strong organisational skills

* Good verbal/written communication skills

* Have resilience and stamina
