A forward-thinking Secondary School in Sudbury, Suffolk, are seeking a Science Tutor to join them on a full-time, long-term basis for the next academic year.

• Long-Term, Full-Time Science Tutor position for this academic year
• Must hold a minimum of a 2.2 classification in a Physics/Chemistry related degree
• £70 per day as a Physics/Chemistry Tutor
• Interviewing now for an immediate start
• Opportunities to progress on to teacher training from September 2020

This Physics/Chemistry Tutor role will see the successful Science Graduate joining a well-resourced and experienced Science department. You will be working under the guidance of the qualified Science Teachers at the school, to support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4. You will be working closely with any students who have been identified as needing extra motivation or support. This could be on a 1:1 basis or through delivering small group interventions.

The school are keen to meet a Physics/Chemistry Graduate who has an impressive academic record which must include at least a 2.2 in their degree. The successful Science Tutor will possess a positive and patient personality and a resilient and dedicated work-ethic with the intention that they can accelerate the learning and engagement for all students.

For this graduate Science Tutor position, previous experience supporting students academically or in more informal settings is highly advantageous. This could involve Youth Work, NCS schemes or TEFL teaching.
