At Depaul UK we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser to come and join our team in London. You will join us on a full time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £26,450 per annum including ILW + pension and other benefits!

Depaul UK delivers a wide range of support and housing services for young people and adults at risk of homelessness. We specialise in the provision of services that: prevent homelessness, increase the resilience of those we work with and energise opportunities for employment, education, training and volunteering in the communities we work within.

The Community Fundraiser role:

As our Community Fundraiser you will inspire new and existing church and school supporters across London and South East to support the work of Depaul UK. You will have the responsibility to develop the support of churches, schools and the wider community through giving and volunteering.

What makes this role exciting?

- A full induction including an opportunity to shadow our Nightstop team, to visit our projects and the Community Fundraisers based in Newcastle, Manchester and Sheffield as well as understand our service model, Endeavour, in depth.

- A toolkit of resources and information to help you approach, inspire and support churches and schools within your area.

- Continuous support and supervision from your line manager within the services team, as well as matrix-managed support from the fundraising team who will drive the community fundraising strategy.

What will ideally support your success in the Community Fundraiser role?

- At least one year's experience in a fundraising or similar role such as campaigning or sales.

- Proven experience working effectively with spreadsheets and data.

- Experience in winning financial and other support from supporters.

- Great at building relationships with staff and supporters.
