Large organisation seeking Finance Transaction Team Leader to join established team in Aylesbury.

Your new company

A large organisation operating out of stylish offices in Aylesbury who is currently seeking to appoint a Transactional Finance team manager to join a well established team.

Your new role

This role will support the management team on all aspects of transactional finance and assist in the setting, delivery and monitoring performance against targets. The post holder will also assist in the development and management in a supervisory capacity of a busy team. The post holder will recommend strategic solutions to support innovation around the delivery of the service, continuing to promote the ambitions of the authority relating to Finance. You will be a passionate and self motivated individual with an analytical to deliver effective financial services. You will have knowledge of relevant accounting principles combined with effective team management and development skills. You will have strong experience in technical and finance systems and Excel skills. The Council uses TechOne and experience in this would be helpful but not essential, although you will have experience of using finance systems.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have demonstrable knowledge and experience of using accounts payable and accounts receivable systems. You will contribute to the delivery of the team objectives by delivering effective financial transaction processing whilst ensuring data is accurately maintained and managed within policy and legislation standards. You will be a leader who can demonstrate rounded experience in a corporate setting, with the ambition to innovate, inspire and engage others to ensure that our transactional finance services supports the organisations ambitions. The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills to support influence and deliver excellent customer service internal and external to the organisation. The team leader will be responsible for responding to complex customer queries and supporting changes in technology to streamline the customer experience.
