Pilgrim Wood have a fantastic opportunity for A Care Team Leader to join our team based in Guildford. We have a full-time position, offering:

- £10.50 per hour upwards, depending on experience, qualifications and shift

We require you to have experience in dispensing medication and ideally, you'll have experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant. You will be an excellent motivator and ideally have experience of managing staff.

A caring and compassionate nature and someone who wants to make a real difference to people's lives are the key qualities we are looking for in our Care Team Leaders. Ideally, you will be NVQ Qualified or at least working towards.

You Must be available evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.

The Care Team Leader Role:

The successful Care Team Leader will will be responsible for ensuring that or team of Care Assistants and Support Workers support the physical, emotional and social needs of the residents in a caring, kind, trustworthy and respectful manner, preserving dignity and self-respect at all times. Duties include:

- Instruct Care Assistants on use of equipment and disposal of clinical waste
- Assist and facilitate in the welcoming and training of new members of staff
- To ensure that laundry is delivered to correct residents' room.
- To assist in searching for missing items of clothing
- To help to provide essential physical and mental stimulation by participating in recreational and social activities with residents individually or in group.
- To assist in maintaining accurate records in accordance with CQC registration and legal requirements
- Assisting residents who need help with dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet with due regard for resident's privacy
- Assisting service users with home management and personal care
- Encourage service users to maintain independence and promote wellbeing
