Sales Ledger Assistant - Thame - £22,500 DOE

My Thame based client has a vacancy for a full time Sales Ledger Assistant to join their busy team.They are looking for a team player with proficiency in basic accounting functions and software programs.

As a Sales Ledger Assistant your responsibilities will include:
  • Reception - greeting visitors/signing for deliveries;
  • Sending out statements and mailshots;
  • Creating accounts for new customers;
  • Handling customer queries;
  • Credit control;
  • Dealing with accounting problems and discrepancies;
  • Taking and processing customer payments;
  • Posting payments of cards, from website, cheques and cash;
  • Assisting in month end procedures.

The successful Sales Ledger Assistant will have:
  • Excellent data entry skills - fast and accurate;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • A flexible, organised, team player with ability to work pro-actively;
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Reliable, conscientious and dedicated.

Training will be given.

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm with one hour for lunch.

Salary £22,500 dependent on skills and experience. Profit related bonus after one year's service.
