Our Purpose - building better financial futures. The role We have an exciting immediate vacancy for a Strategy Analyst - This role will be based in our Manchester office. Overall purpose The overarching goal is to optimise the performance of debt purchase portfolios by supporting the design, production and implementation of collection strategies. The post holder will form part of the customer contact team and be responsible for improving how the company contacts our customers and introducing cross-platform strategies. Develop a deep analytical understanding of our customers, our data and all available options. Analyse data to identify and understand weaknesses and opportunities in current contact strategies. Identify the best solution to address weaknesses and opportunities; design, produce and test this solution. Analyse new data sets, identify potential benefits, and compare with existing data even if the format or structure is dramatically different. Run regular processes that ensure we have accurate and reliable data for all our customers. Produce MI reporting to monitor BAU processes and measure the success of new initiatives. Essential Expertise Excel application knowledge is required Educated to degree level - degree in a quantitative field mathematics/ statistics/ physics/ economics A logical and analytical approach to problem solving Strong communicator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills Self-motivated Ability to synthesise complex ideas and analytical results and then present these in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders Effective prioritisation and organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities Desirable SQL application knowledge Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how a business works is preferable Innovative, ability to identify and suggest new ways of working An understanding of modelling techniques and operational models What we can offer you We offer a competitive salary and attractive benefits package and we pride ourselves on rewarding success with our excellent bonus scheme and incentive package.
