We are working with Europe's only independently owned oceanographic survey and consultancy business with head offices in South Devon seeking to appoint Oceanographers at a range of levels.

Partrac are a reputable and established organisation with an impeccable reputation across their global client base. Specialising within renewable energy and offshore wind farms they are pioneering within their field and often first choice based on quality, ease of use and excellent accessibility.

Typical projects include metocean, particle tracking, hydro dynamics, hydrographical and geophysical surveys, coastal & marine consultancy services. Carefully structured to meet demand and to continue growing, the business now has new opportunities for Oceanographers to join the team involved in the scientific collection of data on a variety of projects.

Core responsibilities, and therefore prior experience must include;

* Working on oceanographic and marine survey planning, survey mobilisation, deployments, equipment calibrations, servicing, fault finding/problem solving and improving data quality.
* Working closely and effectively with the imbedded QHSE management system, project managers, oceanographers, geophysicists, geoscientists and hydrographers on large scale projects.

We would like to speak with candidates possessing a degree (or equivalent) in Oceanography, Marine Science, Hydrographic Survey, or a related field. If you are a practically minded person who enjoys everything about the ocean and have some experience in any of the following areas then please make contact;

* Oceanographic mooring deployments.
* Knowledge of wave, current and tide monitoring equipment.
* Resolve equipment software, hardware and data communication issues.
* RTK positioning and associated navigation / survey software.
* Conducting Single-beam and/or multibeam hydrographic surveys including equipment setup.
