We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of Service Desk Agents to join our team in Preston. This is the ideal opportunity to take your first step into your IT career.
Your new Job
In your role as a Service Desk Agent, you will be responsible for speaking with customers who are experiencing a variety of IT issues such as password and connectivity problems. You will need to deliver excellent customer service and ensure resolution of IT issues using a web based system. This will involve following resolution scripts, as well as following processes to log incidents. The role is extremely rewarding and satisfaction can be taken from ensuring customer's IT problems are fixed first time.
Skills you need to succeed
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a Call Centre environment and / or Customer Service. More importantly, you should have a good basic knowledge of IT systems as well as a great telephone manner, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work to targets.
