Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced Care Workers for full time positions in a Residential Secondary School.

The specialist residential care homes work in co-ordination with the secondary school, providing outstanding levels of care and help for children and young people. These pupils can have varied needs, but will mainly include Autism.

The provision provides outstanding support for their service users, working to progress their independent living whilst also stabilising their lives through emotional support. The provision is looking for new members of staff to support the children and young adults.

This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who have the desire to make this a long-term career, as the provision regularly offer internal promotion.

The Role:

Hours - 40 Hours/week (Term time only, 13 weeks of paid holiday)

Monday - Friday
Early shifts - 7.30 - 15:00
Late shifts - 14:30 - 22:00

Saturday and Sunday
Early shifts - 8:00 - 17:00
Late shifts - 13:00 - 22:00

Some staff work one shift every weekend some staff work two shifts every other weekend.

The Candidate:

Ideal candidates will need own transport as there are no public transport links.

Candidates must have a passion for mentoring young adults and children with needs.

Ideal candidates should make me aware of any hobbies/interests you may have that are a bit different as my school love to use them where possible with the young adults and children, to help build relationships and set up extra curricular clubs.
