Our client a leading and forward thinking manufacturing company is looking to recruit an ambitious, articulate and efficient National Account Manager to support, manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, to generate new business by identifying opportunities within the customer base and increase the profitability of these accounts and achieve sales targets.

Duties will include full account management and business development of a well-established brand into new markets ensuring full knowledge of the products and company features including competitive advantages, benefits and pricing, manage the sales and after sales team, including performance, KPI and budgets and creating and proposing sales and marketing strategies within the territory.

Previous experience within Account Management / Business Development is essential and a background within foodservice / food manufacturing would be advantageous. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have a proven track record in sales, an aptitude for creating and maintaining business relationships along with excellent communication and IT skills. You will be motivated, organised, flexible and driven to achieve results.
