Teacher in Beauty (with media make up experience an advantage)

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £31,482 pro rata (depending on experience)

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals and deliver outstanding teaching to the next generation of Beauty Therapists.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our Beauty Therapy department and work within our Creative Arts and Service Industries department. Within this role you will teach on a variety of courses and will be contributing to the on-going development of this fast growing curriculum.

Your main roles will be to monitor and track the students' progress towards their qualification and carry out on assessments, support learners to build their portfolio of evidence and completing the relevant paperwork. Within this role we looking for skills in media make up too, as this is also part of the same department and very fast growing industry you will be asked to teach within both departments.

You must be IT literate with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet skills. You will also have excellent communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

Teacher Training, is not necessarily required as it will be given alongside the post, to be taken within the first 2 years of the successful application.
