To support, manage and develop named Cisco Sector accounts. To be business's main customer contact and facilitator for service escalations and development of communication strategy within allocated accounts. To generate and develop pipeline by working closely with customers, prospects, internal teams and our vendor partners.

Account Director will hold accountability for sales and service satisfaction and the development, growth and commercial success of a defined account base. Account Director will ensure the retention of existing accounts and development of new revenue opportunities from within the core product portfolio.

Financial responsibility for retention targets, increasing sales revenue and gross profit via incremental business. The generation of high quality quotes, business justifications and proposals. Responsible for managing all sales management application and meeting annual personal targets on a monthly basis.

Job Accountabilities

Supporting named account base;

Generating profitable business within portfolio;

Following set process for sales operation;

Work to agreed activity KPIs and customer engagement metrics;

Represent the business in a professional manner;

Liaise with vendor direct-touch account managers to best effect on pipeline and account development;

Work with pre-defined systems to provide the relevant management information and maintain accurate sales forecasts;

Integrate well with the existing team.

Meet personal sales targets on a quarterly basis

Person Specification


2-3 years' experience in the Voice and Data industry. Specifically, cisco, Unified Comms and Support Services experience, and ideally some Data experience. This role is ideally suited to someone who experienced Account Manager

Skills & Abilities

Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with various business functions

Able to obtain, explain and present commercial and technical information clearly

Able to sell Audit & Consultancy Services and construct commercially sound deals

Ability to create and develop relationships

Able to sell Maintel to multiple customers at all levels

Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Excellent communication and listening skills

A polite, approachable, confident and outgoing manner


Experience of working with customers deploying leading manufacturers solutions (e.g. Avaya, Mitel, CISCO, Extreme)

2/3 years' experience in ICT industry with a proven track record in selling profitable deals

A Candidate that is ambitious and keen to succeed within our industry would be preferred
