Application Support Manager - FinTech
Application Support Manager (2nd line Support SQL REST API). Would you like to take ownership and establish a high performing Application Support team for a pioneering digital challenger bank based in beautiful riverside offices? As the Application Support Manager you will create and lead a 2nd line Application Support team within the existing Service Delivery function for a key Open Banking product with a focus on API services. You'll remain hands-on, collaborating with the team to ensure incidents and problem resolutions are prioritised effectively and delivered within the SLA; provide technical support to partners integrating with the services and act as a hierarchical escalation point. You will identify process improvements and implement them; liaise with the Change Control Board on what is going into production and participate in deployment of changes and testing the live environment. Requirements: *Experience of leading an Application Support team *Experience of supporting client bespoke applications and working to SLAs in a customer facing, commercial environment *Ability to code with SQL *Ability to test and debug REST APIs and read application logs *Knowledge of security protocols, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT *Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and able to form strong working relationships As an Application Support Manager you will earn a competitive salary (to £60k) plus benefits.
