We are seeking a full-time RGN/RMN to join our purpose-built nursing home in the Cardiff area.

This home is a state-of-the-art home, with excellent facilities and a good all round CQC rating. The home provides high-quality person-centred care and it provides nursing care to elderly residents and some intermediate care, it's an opportunity to widen your clinical skills and support residents with a range of different needs.

Details of this RGN/RMN vacancy:
  • Excellent hourly rates up to £17.00ph (£43,680pa)
  • 36 - 48 hours per week on a permanent basis
  • Day or night shifts available
  • Full-time or Part-time

The training and career development opportunities are endless within this home, if you are interested in being a manager or team lead there is specialised management training programs where you get the chance to shadow senior nurses and then fast tracked into a Managers position.

About the Nurse Role:
  • Planning, implementing and supervising the provision of quality care
  • Administer and order medicines as required by the home in accordance with the homes' policies and procedures.
  • Follow NMC guidelines and codes in all areas of nursing in the home.
  • Your duties will be that of a standard nurse position: Cannulation maintain accurate records, review care plans, report ill health of patients, catherization and medication runs

The ideal Nurse:
  • Able to work flexible shifts covering a 24/7 rota
  • Passionate about high quality care and delivering a safe and effective clinical service
  • Must be an NMC registered Adult Nurse
  • Ideally have previous experience in elderly and dementia care and a genuine desire to work with the elderly
  • Keep calm under pressure, communicate well on all levels, always stay organised and keep positive

This home accepts Registered General Nurses - RGN's, Registered Mental Health Nurse - RMN and RNLD - Registered Learning Disability Nurses.
