The role

Part of theInvestment Operations and Communications Department's function is on boarding investmentfunds onto Aegon's Retail platforms.Akey element to the end to end process is the negotiation of legal contractswith New Fund Managers being listed.

As Fund Contract Negotiation Executive you will drive and deliver the negotiationof the legal agreements required, ensuring timely execution.The role ultimately helps to deliver acompetitive fund offering in the Retail market and continued development ofassets under administration, while maintaining a strong emphasis on mitigatingrisk, and protecting Aegon's reputation.

Stakeholder and timescale managementis key within the position and you will be required to build strongrelationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers. External Relationships include, LegalPartners, various Fund Manager Relationships including Distribution Executives.Internally you will leverage supportfrom a variety of centralised functions including Group Legal,Regulatory Risk, Distribution, Operations and Investment Administration.The role requires a self-starter, with theability to maintain robust progress monitoring and ensure proactive engagementwith stakeholders, including escalation of issues that may be preventingprogress.Strong record keeping skillsare also key.
