This company is a fast growing technology company in the security industry that manufactures and supplies an impressive range of electronic access control solutions and software.

They sell their solutions to a network of trade partners both in UK and overseas markets who in turn install the products in a wide range of applications including; Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Airports, Ports, factories, offices etc. Their Solutions have their own software and hardware is installed in windows environments with MS Access/SQL used as a database.

They are looking for a Technical Support Consultant to handle both client software/hardware support queries as well as their in House IT support requirements on a full time basis.

About You:
The successful candidate will have at least some previous experience of IT support roles. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively within a close-knit working environment. Applicants must be able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with complex technical support requests and show an ability to solve any issues quickly and efficiently.

Essential skills:
Applicants must have an understanding of MySQL, HTML, Networking. Understanding of electronics is a big advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and will be prepared to work extra time if a critical situation is demanding a resolution. The candidate must have a desire to learn and adapt quickly in a small business environment and willing to put in the time and effort to learn about our solutions back-up by our training.
